What You Need

Device Requirements

iPhone or iPad running iOS 17.0 or later
Mac running macOS 12.0 (Monterey) or later
Works on modern WiFi networks (10+ Mbps recommended)

For optimal performance: iOS 17.4+ and macOS 14.0+ enable full hardware acceleration for encoding and decoding, resulting in significantly lower latency and reduced CPU usage.

Network Requirements

All devices must be on the same local WiFi network
Private WiFi networks work best (home, studio, office)
Uses 3-5 Mbps during streaming

Note: Relay requires devices to communicate directly on your local network. Some public WiFi networks (hotels, airplanes, coffee shops) isolate devices and may not work. Guest networks with client isolation enabled will also prevent device discovery.
